1. Data controller

The Orbimeet service is operated by Sad Marine FZE LLC (“Orbimeet”, “we”), based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Your personal data is processed under this policy in line with applicable data protection principles.

2. What data we process

• Account data: name, email address, and your password (hashed irreversibly — we cannot see it).
• Usage data: the rooms you create, cloud recording records, your subscription plan and payment status.
• Technical data: your IP address at sign-in (temporarily, solely to defend against brute-force attacks).

Meeting content is not processed. Your audio and video flow directly between participants and are not recorded on our servers. If you download a recording only to your own device it never touches any server; if you use the "upload to cloud" option the recording is stored on our server behind a secret link accessible only to you and the people you share it with, and you can delete it at any time. Under strict network conditions traffic may pass through our relay server in encrypted form so the connection can be established; even then the content cannot be viewed or stored.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is processed to create and manage your account, provide your subscription, carry out payment transactions and protect the security of the service, on the basis of performance of the contract and legitimate interest.

4. Sharing and service providers

Payment transactions are handled by the internationally licensed payment institution Stripe ; your card details never reach us. If you use the AI meeting summary feature, only the caption text of a meeting you started is sent to our AI provider to produce the summary. Apart from this, your data is not shared with third parties unless legally required.

5. Retention and your rights

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains open; cloud recordings are kept for at most 90 days. You can permanently delete your account and all your data from your dashboard. For access, correction or deletion requests, write to destek@orbimeet.com.
